Infant Bloating/Constipation/Insomnia
I first came to see Dr. Giaquinto in November 2009. My six month old daughter, Colette, was experiencing severe digestion difficulties, stomach cramps, bloating, gas, constipation, and insomnia since she was born. Every day she would scream for two to three hours because she was in so much pain. Colette was only sleeping for 30-90 minutes at a time due to the amount of pain and discomfort she was experiencing. Needless to say after six months, my husband and I were exhausted physically and emotionally. We felt helpless and hopeless that our little girl was suffering so much. We have seen seven different doctors and specialists and they all said the same thing, “she is on the wrong formula.” That was their treatment, to switch formula. We had switched formulas countless times and Colette’s symptoms didn’t change at all. We were referred to Dr. Giaquinto by our Pediatrician. After our first appointment with Dr Giaquinto we noticed a dramatic difference. Colette no longer screamed in pain for two to three hours per day, she slept soundly, and she has regular bowel movements! Continuing with treatment, Colette’s bloating and gas has disappeared and is now sleeping five to six hours at a time, like baby’s should. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with the results Dr. Giaquinto was able to get for Colette and us. Thank you Dr. Giaquinto from the bottom of our hearts for helping us experience life without daily pain. I had forgotten how it felt to have a “normal” day.
